RBW - Voyageur Canoe Pack

Part of the Heritage line of packs and inspired by those who prefer traditional portage packs and wanigans in the backcountry, the Voyageur Canoe Pack is a large volume pack (120L) rectangular shaped pack but horizontally oriented and perfectly shaped to sit low in the canoe. This style of pack was often carried with just a tumpline, but we’ve added modular shoulder straps to help carry this pack. Also great as a sled/toboggan bag in winter.

This updated version of a classic boasts hard wearing 1000 Denier Nylon, and 2-inch webbing that runs down both sides and along the bottom of the pack to secure the load to a tumpline. Quick release buckles on a the lid closes over an expandable drawstring attic to keep your gear contained. Also, under the lid are 3 yellow compression straps. The foam back pad is a welcome nod to comfort along with the functionality of 4 hi-viz grab handles to get this pack in and out of the canoe. A daisy chain strip along the lid and along both sides give additional lash points.

• A generous section of reticulated foam (3/4”) over a layer of dense EVA foam (1/2”) in the back panel means your gear is not digging into your back.

• Slightly smaller dimension on the pack bottom make it easier to get in and out of the canoe.
• Expandable top attic cuff under the lid for extra volume, with a drawstring closure.
• 3 x Yellow compression straps are easy to see under the lid.
• Daisy chains on lid and sides to attach extra gear or help secure to your winter sled/toboggan.
• 2-inch webbing down both sides and along the bottom of the pack to secure the load to a tumpline.
• Lid secures closed with 4 quick release compression straps
• Reinforcement on – handles, shoulder straps and tumpline connection points.
• A 60L Barrel will fit inside this pack with room to spare.
• Super Tump can be adjusted while portaging.
• Modular Shoulder Straps can be set to have the load ride as high or low as you desire.
• Super Tump and Modular Shoulder Straps are removable to suit your portaging style.
