Weighing just 31 ounces, the Sting Ray Hybrid is the lightest adjustable-length, flatwater injected-molded kayak paddle available at this price point. The redesigned, stronger blade offers a smoother forward stroke with reduced flutter, a stiffer feel, and quieter entry and exit. The upgraded fiberglass and nylon blade material is thicker and more durable, providing less flex and ensuring long-term robustness. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon blades are designed to offer forgiveness and the perfect amount of flex, allowing the kayak to move efficiently, even with extra gear. The 92.5 sq. inch blade is the ideal size for efficiency, providing enough torque to maneuver the kayak without causing excessive fatigue. The traditional "mid-sized" or slender blade design is favored by low-angle paddlers, providing a more relaxed, horizontal stroke. The carefully engineered blade shape slices through the water with minimal wind resistance, reducing fatigue. The sharp dihedral ensures a silky-smooth stroke with zero flutter, preserving energy for longer paddles.
