The Company

The Position
We seek a Full-Time Sales Leader interested in the outdoors. Past retail experience is required.
The starting wage is $18.50 and is negotiable based on experience.
Expectations of the position are (but are not limited to):
- Provide exceptional customer service by:
- Greeting all customers in a friendly manner
- Listening to and understanding the customer's needs
- Educating the customer on the best options
- Walking them through our unique experience of buying their paddle craft
- Show customers and renters how to safely load a boat on a vehicle.
- Perform the necessary tasks of opening the store for business and closing the store at the end of the day.
- Driving a company vehicle for delivery and pick-up of rental boats or boats for test paddling.
- Continue to learn about the company and the outdoor industry.
- Directing customers to products within the store.
- Maintaining the presentation of the shop, products, signage, and displays.
- Sustain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available on weekends.
You must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 23kg (51bs).
A Class G driver's license is necessary.
The Location
Frontenac Outfitters is in a picturesque spot outside Sydenham, with Pearkes Lake as our backyard. Our property provides the perfect setting to test paddle, take certified paddling courses, SUP Yoga, and other workshops on our wooded grounds. Our location is just a short drive from thousands of lakes with fantastic opportunities for paddling, fishing, camping, hiking, and exploring. The address is 6674 Bedford Rd. Sydenham, ON.
