OUR LAKE FRONT LOCATION

Perfectly situated ½ hour north of Kingston beside Frontenac Provincial Park – Ontario’s Most Southern Wilderness Park (explore 15,000 acres, 22 Lakes & 160 kms of hiking trails).

Frontenac Outfitters Canoe & Kayak Centre is centrally located half way between Toronto & Montreal (3 hrs), is 2 hrs from Ottawa, and is only 1 hr. from the 1000 Islands Bridge crossing to N.Y. State.

OUR EXPERTISE

At Frontenac Outfitters, we bring decades of combined paddling and camping expertise to every recommendation. Zack, our co-owner, has been paddling for over 20 years, is a certified Paddle Canada instructor, and has been camping since childhood. The rest of our team also draws on a range of experiences in canoeing, kayaking, SUPing, and backcountry camping.

We’re here to provide honest, knowledgeable guidance and ensure you find the gear you need to have a safe, enjoyable time on the water or in the wilderness.

WE HAVE CAMPSITES!

A FREE night’s stay on our own waterfront & wooded campsites is available to those who purchase kayaks, canoes, or stand up paddleboards. Our store is located in a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve – It's considered "one of the most significant landscapes on earth." So slow down, enjoy your time with us, and experience the beautiful landscape.

PADDLECRAFT SALES & TEST PADDLES

We stock an extensive selection of kayaks, canoes, and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP) from the world’s leading manufacturers. Each model is carefully chosen to ensure it meets the needs of our paddlers. With over 40 years of expertise, we’re passionate about helping you find the perfect paddlecraft for your adventures. Plus, you can test paddle your options on our private, pristine lake to feel confident in your choice before you buy.
